I just passed through Chicago during my sum...Amen! I just passed through Chicago during my summer travels. In California, I am accustomed to interacting with a variety of latin-american peoples in service jobs. In Michigan and Chicago, many of those service jobs were held my african-americans. I found myself noticing the difference. Why would I notice? Perhaps because it is simply different than what I am used to. But, is there more? <br /><br />How wonderful it is that God continues to help us "wring out" the biases that have developed throughout our lives. I am grateful for the opportunities to interact with people who are different from myself.
